The new features will be available within the next three days.
If you ever wanted to use strikethrough in an email to show that you edited something out, then your time has came.
Google on Wednesday announced that Gmail is getting a strikethrough button in its formatting bar.
"We've heard from you that this functionality is critical to quickly and efficiently write emails, especially when you want to visually indicate a change in language, " the Gmail team writes in a blog post while highlighting the importance of the new strikethrough shortcut.
Making it a little more easy and handy, especially for those who keep forgetting the keyboard shortcuts, Gmail is also getting Undo/ Redo options.
The new features will be rolling out to all G suite users and should be available to all of them within next three days.
In addition, it's also getting the ability to download emails as .EML files. Chances are users of the free version of Gmail will see them very soon, too.
