- Update will first be rolled out to G Suite
Gmail is set to revamp the rarely-used right click menu as it looks to add quite a few new feature to enhance its functionality for users, according to Google.
Now, users will be able to reply, forward, search for all emails from a sender as well as all emails with the same subject via the right click menu.
Following the update, users will be able to open multiple emails in new windows at the same time - a much needed feature that has been on the wish list of many users.
Other features include the option to add a label, move an email, mute conversations and activate the snooze feature.
Prior to this, the menu had options to archive an email, mark it as read or unread, and delete messages. The new menu will retain the old options as well.
However, the update will first be rolled out to G Suite users.
The update would then be rolled out to scheduled release domains users. It is expected that they update as early as February 22.
