AIRPOD 2 CAN FULLY CHARGED IN 15 MINS: LEAKS

A new leak has claimed that Apple’s next generation of wireless earbuds will incorporate extremely fast charging technology. According to a post on Twitter made by XDA Portal writer Max Weinbach, the Apple AirPods 2 will be able to wirelessly charge from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes, and that includes charging the case.
Max Weinbach has claimed in a recent tweet that the supposedly upcoming AirPods 2 device from Apple will feature the kind of rapid charging technology that will put a smile on any owner's face: 0-100% in a measly 15 minutes – earbuds and case.
The current generation of AirPods offers around three hours of usage after a 15-minute charge, so it’s reasonable to say the rumored wireless charging time for the successor is impressive. But this fast charging technology comes at an apparent cost: The case will be heavier and larger.
Considering the charging case of the original AirPods weighed only 1.34 ounces (38 g), a little extra weight for superior charging times is hardly a huge sacrifice. It’s speculated the AirPods 2 will utilize the Qi standard for wireless power transfer.
Apple is expected to hold a press event on March 25, which will likely focus on the company’s service subscription plan. However, there is a reasonable chance the AirPods 2 might get announced at the event, especially considering the rumor that the earbuds could be made available to the public on March 29.

PREVENTION AND IDENTIFICATION OF RANSOMWARE

What is Ransomware ?

'Ransomware' is a type of malware that attempts to extort money from a computer user by infecting and taking control of the victim's machine, or the files or documents stored on it.

Typically, the Ransomware will either 'lock' the computer to prevent normal usage, or encrypt the documents and files on it to prevent access to the saved data.

Types of Ransomware

  • Encryption Ransomware
  • Lock Screen Ransomware
  • Master Boot Record (MBR) Ransomware

How to prevent Ransomware

  • Keep all of the software on your computer up to date.
  • Make sure automatic updating is turned on to get all the latest Microsoft security updates and browser-related components (Java, Adobe, and the like).
  • Keep your firewall turned on.
  • Don't open spam email messages or click links on suspicious websites. (CryptoLocker spreads via .zip files sent as email attachments, for example.)
  • Download Microsoft Security Essentials, which is free, or use another reputable antivirus and anti-malware program.
  • If you run Windows 8 or Windows RT, you don’t need Microsoft Security Essentials.
  • Scan your computer with the Microsoft Safety Scanner.
  • Keep your browser clean.
  • Always have a good backup system in place, just in case your PC does become infected and you can’t recover your files.

Identifying the Ransomware

Most commonly, ransomware is saved to one of the following locations:

  • C:\Programdata\(random alpha numerics).exe
  • C:\Users\(username)\0.(random numbers).exe
  • C:\Users\Username\AppData\(random alpha numerics).exe

GOOGLE SET TO REFOCUS ON ANDROID THINGS

Google may not be throwing in the towel on Android Things, but its at least neatly folding the towel and setting it on the ground.
In a blog post, Google said that it's refocusing Android Things its Android based platform for smart devices exclusively on smart speakers and smart displays. That's a much narrow scope than the all-encompassing Internet of Things platform that Google had initially dreamed up.
When Android things was first announced in December 2016, Google envisioned it as an operating system that would let developers code for a whole world of smart devices using the tools they already Knew from coding for Android phones. At the time, that included speakers and displays, but also more experimental gadgets, like small robots, art installations, a projector, a 3D printer, and more.
But it took two years for Android Things to actually ship, and it seems to have only arrived on a small number of speakers and displays.
On top of that, Google has recently put a bigger emphasis on using Google Assistant rather than Android Things as the connective tissue for smart devices.
In January, Google announced Google Assistant connect, a way to build Assistant into all kinds of devices, from simple e-paper displays to connected dishwashers. Google may  not run the core of those devices, but it's software still enables the same types of connectivity.
Google's original ambition for a smart device platform were actually even bigger. Android Things was itself a reinvention of a platform called Brillo, announced in 2015, that was described as the "under-living operating system for the Internet of things."
